Another Love Island couple have called it quits just weeks after leaving the villa - yup, it's all over for Sam Gowland and Georgia Harrison.

To be honest, this isn't really a surprise as they only got together right at the end and we didn't REALLY expect a happily ever after for these two. Sorry.

Georgia announced the news on Twitter earlier today (August 19) and began by implying that Sam had cheated on her, before then clarifying that she actually wasn't too sure if anything had gone on.

"Would like to confirm that myself and sam are no longer together. Unfortunately for some men one girl isn't always enough," she wrote.

"I'm not saying @SamGowland123 cheated," she then clarified. "That's not the case our relationship pretty much broke down a couple of weeks ago now."

She then confirmed they were both singletons again: "But following on from his social media posts last night I felt it's best to announce we are both single."

Keeping it amicable, Sam posted his own tweet announcing the news that they "haven't been [together] for a while now" and a further message confirmed they're still mates.

They're certainly not the first Love Island couple not to make it, either - Montana Brown and Alex Beattie only lasted a couple of weeks on the outside.

But after so much heartbreak, it's good to know that winners Amber and Kem (who have been teasing that they may be engaged) are still going strong, as are third place couple Olivia and Chris.

Camilla and Jamie are working at a Greek refugee camp together, Dom and Jess are already planning marriage and babies and Marcel and Gabby are still loved up, too.

Aww.
