Love Island star Callum Macleod has announced his engagement to girlfriend Jade Olivia.

The couple, who have been together for two years, shared the happy news on Saturday (October 15), after keeping it off social media for the last week.

Callum, 32, posted his proposal video on Instagram, showing the couple sharing a romantic sunset picnic together in Glamorgan, Wales, when he surprises her by getting down on one knee.

As Australian band Hollow Coves song 'Coastline' plays in the background, Jade delightfully accepts and he picks her up in the air.

Alongside the sweet video, Callum wrote: "WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!!! [ring emoji] Last weeks sunrise was a special one... 08.10.22."

The Love Island series five alum was immediately supported by his fellow islanders who wished the newly engaged couple well.

Yewande Biala, who was in the villa the same year as Callum, wrote a simple "Congratulations", with Elma Pazar adding, "Omggg congratulations" followed by a string of heart emojis.

Rachel Finni, who appeared in the 2021 series, also sent her love and declared: "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh congratulations you beautiful beautiful couple".

Katie Price's ex-husband Kieran Hayler also told him: "Stunning mate. Congratulations"

Callum, an aircraft engineer from South Wales, had a short and sweet trip to the Love Island villa back in 2019, first coupling up with eventual winner Amber Gill on the first day of the reality show.

However, their romance was dead in the water from the start, and he was eventually eliminated when he failed to recouple.

However, at Christmas 2020, Callum revealed he had found love with Jade in their first official Instagram post together.

Since then, they have been jetsetting around the world together, sharing pictures from trips including Ibiza, Dubai and Santorini, Greece.

At the end of June 2022, he revealed they had bought a house together, posting a photo from outside and joking: "Hey MTV, welcome to our crib".
