Love Island cast vow to "drop negativity" after Caroline Flack's death

In the wake of Caroline Flack's tragic passing, cast members from Love Island 2019 have vowed to "drop the negativity".

The TV presenter was found dead at her London apartment last weekend, and the awful news has encouraged some of the former stars of the reality show to come together and reach out to one another.

Speaking on FUBAR Radio, Joanna Chimonides explained what's happened behind the scenes.

Speaking about the 2019 cast's group chat, she confirmed: "The cutest, cutest thing happened. We all put in there like, 'Guys if you are going through anything...'

"I think Michael [Griffiths] might have said, 'Guys, despite everything that's happened, despite the situation that everyone's been in on Love Island, let's all be there for each other and let's drop the negativity'.

"Everyone just said like, 'Guys if you ever need help, we all went through this together. Let's all stick together and help each other out.' I think that was so nice of us all to come together and say that."

Joanna went on to reflect on her experience of meeting Caroline, adding: "I met her three times and those three times I met her she was absolutely amazing. She was so kind."
