Love Island eliminates last couple before final
Love Island spoilers follow.
Love Island tonight sent home Jessie and Will in what was a cruel twist at the end of a sweet episode where the contestants’ parents and families arrived in the villa.
After largely quite a pleasant episode with plenty of tear-jerking family reunions and heartfelt exchanges between families and partners, the Islanders received an ominous text asking them to gather around the firepit.
Jessie and Will, Sanam and Kai, and Lana and Ron had been voted as the least compatible couples at the end of Friday's (March 10) instalment, so it was those three pairs who stood in front of the firepit to see which of them were heading home just before the final.

Sanam and Kai were the first couple announced as safe and remaining in the villa as the rest of the Islanders waited.
The second and final couple safe and staying in the villa was announced as Lana and Ron, meaning Jessie and Will were eliminated and heading home. Lana and Ron rejoined the Islanders around the firepit while Jessie congratulated them on making it through.
"Congratulations, guys, you deserve it so much," Jessie said. "It’s been the best journey, couldn’t have done it without you."

"This is sad isn’t it? One of us had to go. I’m happy," Will said to the boys while he packed up his stuff and prepared to leave the villa. "I’m leaving with a girlfriend and somebody I love. I love you all to bits."
"All of you are beautiful inside and out. I’m leaving with somebody I’m in love with," Will said, before the Islanders shared one last group hug. Will then treated his fellow contestants to one last "sexy dance."
Jessie and Will, who were in good spirits despite being eliminated, said they were leaving “on a positive note” and were completely in love with each other.

"I’m heading to Will’s farm for the interim! I’m very excited to go there. I’ll be looking to move," Jessie said after her exit.
Likewise, Will said: "Leaving Love Island is a very sad time, obviously. Starting right at the beginning and almost making it to the end, you’re a little bit sad. However, I feel like I’ve found what I’m looking for in Jessie and made some lovely best friends along the way, too."
Both Jessie and Will revealed that they want Tom and Samie to win in tomorrow's (March 13) final, where we will find out which of the couples will follow in the footsteps of Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and be crowned Love Island champions.
