Yahoo News Love Island fans rejoice at recoupling result
On tonight's Love Island (July 13), it was time to say goodbye to two more contestants from the villa after another recoupling.
And the big question was: would unlucky-in-love Dr Alex George survive?
Dr Alex hasn't had the most exciting run in the villa, but earlier this week things began to look up with the arrival of new girl Alexandra Cane – who, against all odds, had set her sights on him.
But Alex being Alex, he was still nervous when it came to the recoupling, as he was left in the final three with Kieran Nicholls and Idris Virgo.

Before we get to that, here are the new couples: Kazimir Crossley and Josh Denzel, Georgia Fowler and Sam Bird, Laura Anderson and Jack Fowler, Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham, Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson, and Ellie Brown and Charlie Brake.
So with Dr Alex probably mentally packing his suitcase, Alexandra announced that she had chosen HIM to couple up with and it was goodbye to Idris and Kieran.
For fans of Dr Alex, this was the moment they'd been waiting for.

But there were the doubters, who questioned how genuine Alexandra really is about Alex.

And after being coupled up, Alex and Alexandra spent the night in the same bed, where Alex says some 'smooching and strong cuddling' happened.
