Love Island fans are all saying the same thing about *that* Davide and Danica kiss

Love Island 2022 is well and truly bringing the *drama*, and it's everything we hoped for and more. And one man who's got everyone talking? Original bombshell Davide Sanclimenti.

Following his antics in the villa, Davide has been the topic of his fair share of conversation from Love Island viewers - from coupling up with Gemma, then Ekin-Su, then back to Gemma (anyone else struggling to keep up?) Most recently, the 27-year-old has been seen getting closer to new contestant Danica Taylor - and fans have all got the same thing to say about their first kiss.

If you tuned in to Thursday night's Love Island episode, you'll have seen Davide and Danica chatting away outside, with 21-year-old Danica telling Davide that the pair are "just vibing." She tells him "give it like two more days" to see where things might be heading next, with Davide then very unexpectedly leaning in for a kiss.

As Love Island has got us accustomed to by now, the snog was all verrry intense. And it looks like we weren't the only ones surprised by the quick development for Davica (Danide?), with Danica herself seeming shocked by the whole thing.

She's certainly not alone, as Love Island viewers have been quick to comment on the fact that the kiss essentially seemed to appear from nowhere.

One fan tweeted, "I was not ready for that kiss with Davide and Danica," while another added, "I was not expecting Davide to kiss Danica ngl I’m in shock."

A third joked, "Literally blinked and Davide mouthin Danica [sic]." Meanwhile, a fourth agreed, "Davide kissing Danica is the biggest shock of my [evening]."
