Love Island fans are convinced Marcel Somerville was replaced by a random man on Sunday night's show (July 16).

Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that while all the other couples in the villa were busy 'necking on' with each other, Gabby Allen tried to get some sleep – facing away from a "random guy" who "looks nothing like Marcel".
Hello @ITV, hope you're well. Who the hell is this and what have you done with Marcel? 🤔 #LoveIsland pic.twitter.com/7mUX3HT0vN

Digital Spy has reached out to ITV for clarification – but after studying the pictures, it looks like it's just the angle of the shot and night-vision cameras that make Marcel appear to look different.
Just take a look at the below with the lights ON...

It comes after fans hit out at Gabby, accusing her "using" Marcel and "playing a game" to win the ITV2 show – which airs its finale a week today (Monday, July 24).
The Love Island final will see the most compatible couple be crowned winners in a live episode and the pair will reportedly walk away with £50K.
The favourites as it stands are Marcel and Gabby, Chris and Liv, Kem and Amber and new-found lovebirds Jamie and Camilla.
Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2.
