Love Island fans appear to be turning on Olivia Attwood.

Once a villa favourite, the series original was voted one of the least popular islanders in last week's elimination after ending her relationship with Chris Hughes.

Although their romance is now firmly back on with Olivia asking him to be her boyfriend on Sunday (July 16), viewers aren't convinced.

During a challenge set up by producers, Chris was tested on how well he knows his new girlfriend.

When asked what she wants most in life, he answered marriage and children – but he couldn't have been more wrong.

A shocked Olivia laughed, "I've only known you a few weeks" – before going on to confess money is what she wants.

Twitter was then inundated with messages accusing her of using Chris in a bid to try and win the £50,000 cash prize.

One wrote: "LoveIsland Olivia just exposed the fact she's in it for the money."

Another then posted: "Olivia saying that her biggest ambition in life is to be rich really just proves that she's on love island for money."

Moments later, a different viewer posted: "Olivia saying all she wants is to rich has just proved everything, there for money not love #loveisland."

Shortly afterwards, another wrote: "Olivia is so not interested in Chris, she just wants the money the fame hungry desperate little slosh pot #LoveIsland."

A fifth then added: "Olivia just wants the money and fame she doesn't care about anyone else in that villa #loveisland."

While some viewers are suspicious of Olivia's feelings for Chris, she was the one who initiated taking the next step in their relationship during Sunday's episode.

After asking him to make her his girlfriend, the new couple had sex for the first time in the villa – and despite managing to do it without anyone noticing, they then went and told the entire villa the following morning.

Love Island is on ITV daily at 9pm.
