Soccer Aid 2020 saw Love Island and I'm a Celebrity stars clash tonight (September 6) as the Rest of the World XI clinched victory for a second year in a row after beating England on penalties.

Once again raising money for UNICEF, to help support disadvantaged kids in more than 190 countries, tonight's (September 6) charity game at Old Trafford saw a host of new celebrities and former footballers make their Soccer Aid debut.

Mo Gilligan, Jason Manford, I'm a Celebrity's Joel Dommett, Love Island's Iain Stirling, and Santan Dave were among those to take part in the event for the first time, as were ex-pros Kelly Smith MBE, Patrice Evra and David James.

Meanwhile, the likes of Wes Brown, Olly Murs, Kem Cetinay, Joe Wicks and Lee Mack all made their return to the charity event.

Dermot O’Leary and Kirsty Gallagher presented proceedings from pitch-side, with Maya Jama, Omid Djalili and Alex Scott featuring as guest pundits.

Once again, it was a tightly contested match this year, with Robbie Keane putting the ROW XI ahead in the second half, only for YouTuber Yung Filly to immediately equalise for England.

In the end, it was fellow YouTuber Chunkz who cost England the game, placing his penalty just wide of the goal. Lee Mack didn't help, either, missing from the spot for a second year running.

More importantly, though, tonight's game helped to raise £11,552,577 for UNICEF, making it the most successful Soccer Aid in history.

You can still make donations up until October 6, 2020, with the UK Government and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance matching your contributions, meaning the charity now gets £3 for every £1 donated.
