Love Island’s Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde have accused a radio presenter of branding their son a “mistake”.

The reality TV couple were left outraged after presenter Alan Brazil allegedly made the comment on his talkSPORT show.

Massey, who welcomed son Freddie-George with de la Hoyde in December, hit out at Brazil on Twitter, calling on him to invite him on the show to talk about the alleged remark.

He tweeted: “@alanbrazil how dare you call my son a mistake , if u want to talk about my son and think you know everything let’s have a chat man to man live on air @talkSPORT.”

De La Hoyde retweeted the post and added: “Lovely thing for a mother to these after 12 hours of should be ashamed talking about a 6 month baby like that hidden away behind the safety of the radio.”

Fans were quick to rally around the couple with many branding Brazil a “disgrace” for the alleged comment while others wrote: “Your son is so beautiful.”

Standard Online has contacted a representative for talkSPORT for comment.

Massey and De La Hoyde met on, and were crowned winners of, Love Island in 2016.

They split before their son was born but later reconciled. They recently made their debut on TOWIE where they were joined by Tommy Mallet who is Freddie’s godfather.
