Yahoo News Love Island newbie Ellie already knows Adam
Love Island is getting a little more populated, with two new additions entering the villa tomorrow night (Sunday, June 17).
As it turns out, Adam Collard already knows one of the fresh faces, Ellie Brown.
At 20 years old, Ellie is a business development manager hailing from The Toon and claims to have even met one of Adam's exes.
Speaking ahead of her unveiling this weekend, she said: "I do know Adam. And I've met his ex. Newcastle is very small so everyone knows everyone. We all speak.
"If I saw him in a nightclub I would say 'hello' but we've not been in the same friendship circle. I knew Alex Beattie from last year, I knew Sophie Gradon from series two."
As well as sharing her connections to current Love Island stars, Ellie spoke about some of her least likeable attributes.
"I'm very short tempered," she said, "I haven't got the ability to look past a situation when I'm in it.
"If somebody annoys me in that moment, I get very emotional. I say things that I will probably regret saying.
She added: "Sometimes people think you have to be the bigger person and walk away, but I'm not good at that.
"I might say things that come across quite harsh but it's all from a good place – it's because I care and I get emotional about it. I'm going to try and not have any kick offs."
If reports from The Sun are to be believed, the villa could be set to explode very soon, as not only has Adam already been introduced to Ellie, but he apparently broke up with one of her friends prior to entering the villa.
