Yahoo News Love Island shares big update ahead of All Stars return
Love Island has shared a big update ahead of the return of its All Stars series.
The hit dating show, which sees several past Islanders return to the villa for a second chance at love, will kick off at 9pm on January 13, 2025 on ITV2 and ITVX.
ITV announced the exciting news on Instagram on Monday (December 16), posting a photograph of an invitation addressed to the returning cast.
"Dear Islander, as dating royalty, you are cordially invited back to the villa as a Love Island all star," read the gold embellished invitation, alongside the date.
"Dress to impress," it concluded, with host Maya Jama's signature at the bottom.

"Signed. Sealed. Delivered... but to whom?" the post's caption read.
Fans quickly took to the comments section to share their excitement at the show's upcoming return, with one writing: "Eeeeek so excited!"
"Ahhhhh cannot WAIT to hear 'can I just pull you for a chat' and 'my type on PAYPAH' again soon," another added, while a third said: "I'm so ready," alongside heart emojis.
The first series of All Stars aired in January 2024, and saw lots of drama, shock re-couplings, bombshells and, of course, dumpings.
Molly Smith and Tom Clare went on to win the series, after previously appearing as contestants on the sixth and ninth series of the main show.

Callum Jones and Jess Gale were the runners-up, Josh Ritchie and Sophie Piper came in third, and Georgia Steel and Toby Aromolaran achieved fourth place.
Nearly 10 months on from their triumph, Molly and Tom are still going strong, with the pair purchasing a house together in August.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Molly recently revealed that she and Tom have discussed the prospect of marriage and children.
"We know it's going to happen one day but we're not in a mad rush for it. We're just loving what each day brings and taking our time with things," she explained. "Those are things we definitely want, but it won't be any time soon."
Love Island: All Stars returns at 9pm on January 13, 2025 on ITV2 and ITVX.
