Yahoo News Love Island star's family respond to nude photo hack
Love Island star Zara McDermott's loved ones are responding to a nude photo leak that she's not yet aware of.
The 21-year-old government advisor entered Casa Amor over the weekend along with Ellie Brown, and has quickly become embroiled in a love triangle with Rosie Williams and controversial contestant Adam Collard.
However, Zara's private explicit photographs and a video have leaked online and are being shared on social media without her knowledge or consent.
A source close to the family confirmed to Digital Spy they are "shocked and disappointed that anyone would breach her trust in this way".
While Zara is not aware of this breach yet, she's currently involved in controversy inside the villa for her growing romantic interest with resident playboy Adam, who's already coupled up with Rosie.
In Tuesday's episode (June 19), many viewers accused Adam of deliberately manipulating Rosie's emotions to make her feel as if it was her fault for turning his heard towards Zara.
However, Rosie pulled Zara aside in Wednesday's (June 20) instalment to warn her that Adam is likely to manipulate her just as he has done with three other women in the villa thus far.
"I will say to you: be careful," Rosie tells Zara. "Because, I'm not the first girl. I'm the second girl. Megan was the third. You're the fourth and it's been two weeks. Be careful."
Love Island continues Sundays through Fridays at 9pm on ITV2, with Caroline Flack presenting The Weekly Hot List on Saturday nights.
