Love Island star to compete at 'Grimsby’s biggest wrestling event'

One of the stars of ITV dating show Love Island is to compete in a highly acclaimed wresting competition in Grimsby. British Wrestling Revolution (BWR) is hosting ‘Viva La Revolution,’ at Grimsby Auditorium on Friday, November 22.

For over seven years, BWR has showcased the best of British wrestling in the Grimsby and Cleethorpes area, featuring international stars like WWE's Pete Dunne, Joe Henry, and Piper Niven, alongside AEW talents Kip Sabian and PAC. These world-renowned athletes have shared the ring with the brightest local talents, selling out over 20 consecutive shows at Cleethorpes' Memorial Hall.

And making his highly anticipated debut at ‘Viva La Revolution’ is Adam ‘Flex’ Maxted, a former ITV Love Island contestant turned professional wrestler. Since his appearance on the show in 2016, Maxted has become one of the top wrestling talents in the UK. He aims to make a statement and enter the BWR World Championship scene.

Now, for the first time, BWR is bringing its action-packed brand to Grimsby Auditorium, headlining the event with a Steel Cage Team Warfare match. Grimsby’s own Scotty Rawk, the reigning BWR World Champion, leads his team 'The Violence Party' against former friend-turned-rival Tyler Devlin and his allies inside the 17ft steel cage. This promises to be one of the most intense matches in BWR history.

Rawk, who has held the championship for over a year, has defended his title across Europe, including matches in Italy, France, and Poland. Devlin, a fan favorite, has not wrestled in over two years following Rawk’s shocking betrayal and is eager to settle the score in this high-stakes match.
