Montana Brown has revealed she recently had to go to hospital after suffering a pregnancy scare.

The former Love Island star, 27, is currently pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Mark O’Connor. She confirmed earlier this month that the gender of their baby is a boy.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the Hertfordshire native said she had experienced every expectant mum’s worst nightmare when she became concered over her baby’s reduced movements.

Uploading a series of pictures of her and her partner at a hospital, she explained: “Recently.. feeling grateful that everything is all healthy and looking ok definitely so emotional when you overthink what’s going on in your body and movements differ between days.

“I had reduced movements which were all explainable but it’s so nerve wracking when it’s your first time going through it all. So thankful for the wonderful NHS and really glad we decided to go with a local hospital rather than in London.”

Going on to praise her other half for being by her side throughout the ordeal, she continued: “Also so grateful for my wonderful partner too, has been a bit of a stressful few days but so beyond thankful for my good health, good people around me and phenomenal professionals in our hospital.”

Expanding further on what led her to seek medical help in a clip shared to Instagram Stories, she said: “If you guys haven’t been pregnant before... when you start getting movements, you’re supposed to track those movements, and if you see any changes then you should go the day centre or the triage.”

Explaining that her baby’s kicks are “all day every day, especially in the evening,” she said she “could see limbs flying out of my stomach” but that alarm bells rang when she couldn’t feel anything for two nights.

Brown confirmed that her hospital trip took place last week and that the doctors did plenty of checks before telling her that everything was okay.
