Yahoo News Love Island star reveals truth about rumoured romance with Liam Payne
Love Island's Amber Davies has opened up about her 'relationship' with One Direction singer Liam Payne – and no, they're not a couple.
Last year, Liam and girlfriend Cheryl confirmed that they were splitting after two and a half years together.
Following reports that Liam is 'dating' supermodel Naomi Campbell, Amber has discussed her rumoured romance with the 1D star.
She told OK! magazine: "Liam is a genuinely lovely guy and very down to earth considering how successful he is. If I messaged him and asked him for advice he would give it to me, but I’m not dating him. Liam is lovely but we’re just friends!"
In the same interview, Amber also discussed ex-boyfriend Kem Cetinay, as well as her desire to start a family.
"We went through a lot together, I was so in love with him," she said of Kem. "I'll always get that nervous feeling when I see him."
She added: "I’m such a maternal person, I’d love to have children. I want four boys. I like the names Hugo, Noah and Monty."
In January, Amber talked about her upcoming West End debut in 9 to 5 the Musical, explaining that she thinks she has "a lot to prove" to audiences.
"I moved to London at 16 and I trained for three years down in central London," she began. "And then I was the lead singer on a cruise [...] And then I got offered Hairspray the UK tour and Love Island, and I thought I'd just take a gamble, and it's paid off.
"But I have a lot to prove, I think."
