Love Island All Stars fans slam 'most awkward game in the history of the show'
Love Island All Stars is back and sparking discourse on X about this year's star-studded islanders. This follows the arrival of bombshells Grace Jackson, ex-girlfriend of England player Marcus Rashford, and Essex's own Ron Hall in Monday night's episode (January 20). The two have already shaken up the villa with Grace approaching Casey, and Ron pulling Elma for a chat.
Following their arrival, the islanders played a game titled 'It's giving gifted', which required each player to gift a sash to the person they felt was best suited to the label. While some islanders awarded their sashes as light-hearted compliments, others took the opportunity to air their grievances. Kaz awarded Luca a sash reading "bad communicator" which caused an awkward moment round the firepit.
Kaz explained "He's been very hot and cold with me and I feel like he could communicate his feelings a bit better." The other islanders appeared uncomfortable as the two discussed Kaz's comment. Viewers took to X to comment on the islanders antics, with one user commenting: "This is the most awkward game in the history of Love Island."

What are people saying about this year's islanders?
Love Island started in 2015, and this year's all-star cast is made up of contestants from across the series. As a result, fans have noticed that the age demographic of contestants has shifted.
On X user said: "Why’s everyone pushing 40 but acting like they’re in year 9?" However, other viewers have come to the contestants defence saying: "This is All Stars. OGs will be older."
Marcel Somerville has come under fire after implying that he may still be legally married to former wife Rebecca Vieira. The Blazin' Squad member has been exploring a romantic connection with Olivia Hawkins. He said to The Sun: "I filed for divorce last year, we're currently separated, I am single – but divorces can take a certain period of time."
Viewers responded to this, with one saying: "Luca's wondering what he's doing on Love Island again, while Marcel is the one who's a 39 year old divorcee with kids."
Is Luca having a redemption arc?
In another turn of events, Luca Bish is seemingly redeeming himself following his appearance on the show in 2022. Luca caused controversy back in series eight, when he was coupled up with Gemma Owen, but viewers are praising him for his sense of humour and increased maturity this time round.
One fan on Twitter said: "I hope Luca gets a nice girl, he has really matured since his season, you can tell he had real feelings for Gemma and she clearly broke his heart."
Another commented: "Luca is going from one of my most hated on his season to one of my faves this season." Fans have commented on the star's new-found maturity, especially in comparison to the other islanders.
The fishmonger-turned-influencer from Brighton had an emotional moment during Monday night's episode. After a dramatic recoupling, the pressure of the game got to Luca and he emotionally talked about his time in the villa so far. He explained to his fellow islanders: "It's just so different to last time" and explained that his head was "running wild."
Luckily, the star had the support of Ekin-Su and the other islanders. Ekin-Su said: "You're a lot better version than you were before I promise you. You've got all of us here." Love Island All Stars is on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm Sunday-Friday.
