Love Island teases major lie detector fallout between Josh and Kaz - and fans can't wait

Love Island has teased major drama ahead of the long-awaited return of the lie detector challenge – and fans can’t wait.

Viewers of the ITV2 show were starting to get worried that the sure fire drama of the lie detector had been canned from this year’s series.

But after seven weeks of pure sun-soaked action and cute couples, the polygraph is back to cause trouble – and it looks like stable Josh and Kaz could be about to face some uncomfortable truths.

At the end of Sunday’s episode, the preview for the next episode showed Josh settling in and wiring up for his quickfire questions, asked by Megan.

Strapped in, Josh says: “Oh f***, I’m sweating,” before he is asked if he will remain loyal to Kaz on the outside.

The lie detector buzzer then sounds, with Josh moaning “Oh s***!”

While it’s a long wait until 9pm to find out exactly what the test will show, fans are already beside themselves with excitement.

One wrote: “The lie detector test. The episode we’ve all been waiting for, give us the dramaaaaa. #LoveIsland.”

While another said: “Mateeee, the lie detector returns tomorrow night. Bring on the lies! I’ve been waiting for this all season #loveisland.”

“Can see Megan and old Josh getting mugged off with this lie detector #LoveIsland,” laughed somebody else.

The test will see each of the islanders face a series of questions while hooked up to machine, determining instantly whether or not they are lying.

Their fellow islanders will be watching the test in the living room, guaranteed to have some strong reactions.
