Love Island new arrival Tyla has once again been causing trouble for Jonny and Camilla, as the latest episode of the ITV2 dating show sees the 24-year-old question the couple’s romance.

With Jonny frustrated at how slowly things are moving with partner Camilla, Tyla spied an opportunity to make her move ahead of the recoupling, suggesting he’s not being honest about his feelings.

She asked: “Can you be yourself and say your things or do you feel like there are egg shells?”

Jonny admitted that he’s having doubts, saying: “Everyone knows that I can’t be myself around her. I’m not saying I don’t see a future I just have no idea I don’t know where things might go.”

After arriving in the villa, 24-year-old Tyla confessed to fancying Essex lad Jonny, and quickly invited him on a date.

She toyed with the idea of teaming up with him in the most recent recoupling but instead opted to pick Dom who was left without a partner when Jess left the island.

After some of the housemates questioned whether Jonny’s affections for his partner Camilla were genuine, the pair risked being sent home from the villa in Monday’s shock double dumping.

They were eventually saved from the boot as their fellow housemates chose to send friends Sam and Chloe home instead as they were felt to be the least romantically compatible.

Later in the programme, Jonny confessed to Simon that he “wants to rip [Tyla’s] clothes off” but doesn’t want to jeopardise a potential “long-term thing” with Camilla.

Meanwhile, Camilla isn’t prepared to give up her romance with Jonny without a fight and makes a pact with Gabby to be more affectionate towards him. But will it be enough to triumph over love rival Tyla in the recoupling?

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
