Love Island viewers furious at Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham

Tonight's Love Island sadly saw Ellie Brown and Charlie Brake dumped from the villa after they received the least public votes to keep them in – but before they left, Ellie discovered Charlie's big secret.

Charlie confided in Jack Fincham earlier this week that his family sold a huge food business in the past and have a multi-million pound fortune as a result.

But, admitting that he worries his financial situation can attract women for the wrong reasons, he asked Jack to keep the news under his hat.

Of course Jack couldn't resist telling his girlfriend Dani Dyer what he'd found out and tonight she decided to spill the beans to Charlie's new girlfriend Ellie, congratulating her on landing a rich boyfriend.

Delighted Ellie confessed to Charlie that she knows the truth about his financial situation, causing Charlie to look visibly uncomfortable.

And despite the fact that Dani and Jack are the show's golden couple, plenty of viewers were angry with them for betraying Charlie's trust:

And several people felt terrible for Charlie as he was clearly upset:

And some couldn't help but feel that Ellie seems extra keen on Charlie now she knows about his money:

Now that Ellie and Charlie are out of the villa but still an official couple, here's hoping they can make things work.
