Love Island spoilers follow.
Love Island fans were left heartbroken after fan-favourite Islander Uma decided to leave the villa with partner Wil.
Tonight's (July 9) episode saw new bombshells Reuben and Josh begin to settle into villa life, before Sean received a shock text asking all Islanders to gather around the fire pit immediately.
Once in position, Reuben got another text, which read: "Josh and Reuben, it’s time for you to make a very big decision, please stand in front of the Fire Pit. As you are both single, you must each decide to couple up with a girl of your choice."

First up was Josh, who opted to couple up with single Mimii, after sharing a kiss on the Hideaway terrace. Reuben was next to decide, and he chose to steal Uma from Wil.
Newly single Wil instantly received a text that revealed he'd been dumped from the island. "I'm gonna leave, sorry," said an emotional Uma. "I'm not staying here without him."
Upset over Uma's decision to leave, viewers quickly shared their disappointment on X (formerly Twitter).
"Y'all Uma loves Will. It's really over for us " wrote one fan, with another adding: "Uma that's nuts what do you mean you're leaving?"

A third commented: "Yeah there was no way Uma was staying, she was even crying before he picked her," while a fourth similarly said: "Uma crying hurts my heart. The way she's ready to leave shows how genuine she is."
Another viewer echoed the sentiment: "I kid you not this is the FIRST time I've sobbed on LI. Uma is such a great person I will miss her so much... one of the BEST girls on there."
Speaking after her exit, Uma explained the reasoning behind her decision, saying: "It's a bittersweet feeling, I made such amazing friendships in the villa that it started to feel like home.
"I'm happy to be leaving as I wouldn't have wanted to stay and not be genuine to myself and my feelings for Wil."
Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
