In a shocking elimination, Jess Shears and Mike Thalassitis have been sent packing in tonight's (June 21) Love Island.

Mike & Olivia Attwood, Dom Lever & Jess and Chloe Crowhurst & Sam Gowland were the three couples at risk, and the remaining safe contestants had to chose one girl and one guy to leave the island for good.

The girls chose newbie Mike to leave as they felt they had more loyalty to those who had been there longer, and the boys picked Jess, much to many people's surprise, as they said they felt closer to the other two girls.

Jess revealed to Digital Spy that she told Dom to stay, but would dump him if he kissed another girl while he was there.

"But if he were to romantically kiss someone else then I would let him get on with that," she said. "I'm not one to go back to a guy. If that's what he wants to do then that's fine but I wouldn't pursue him any further."

But Mike was not convinced Dom would keep faithful on the island and told Digital Spy what he reckons Dom will be up to next.

"He's not going to be loyal to Jess," Mike laughed. "If he was, he would have left when she did.

"When I came into the villa, Dom told me that if I picked Jess, he would couple up with Olivia. I think that's what he's going to do now."

Love Island is on ITV2, daily at 9pm.
