Love Island winner Amber Gill has been revealing some behind-the-scenes secrets about her time on the show.

The 22-year-old admitted that she was nominated to go to the notorious Love Island hideaway while on the show.

However, she didn't want to go, and got upset at the thought.

"I remember I got nominated to go in the hideaway once and I start bubbling so they choose someone else," she wrote on Twitter.

"Eeewww scaryyyyy," she added.

"I just want to sleep in peace I don't want to perform for the public to watch in underwear with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.

"That's for my mans only and to be fair I never had one in there."

Amber was romantically involved with Sherif Lanre before moving on to an ill-fated relationship with Michael Griffiths.

She went on to win the show with Greg O'Shea, despite being a very new couple.

But it wasn't meant to be and the pair split a few weeks later, with Amber recently labelling herself the "first solo winner of Love Island" on TikTok.

Siannise Fudge and Luke Trotman recently headed to the private hideaway after their fellow contestants voted for them to have some time alone.

Luke T was then praised by viewers for asking consent to touch Siannise after she performed a lap dance for him.

Love Island airs on ITV2, and you can catch up on the show via ITV Hub.
