Amber Gill has apparently been left “devastated” after boyfriend Greg O’Shea reportedly ended their romance in a text message.

O’Shea dumped Gill just five weeks after the pair won Love Island together, according to The Sun.

A source said: "Greg has broken up with Amber and is blaming their busy schedules and now they want to focus on their careers.”

The insider went on: “Amber is devastated.

“She thought he was a lovely guy, but he's made his feelings clear over text, which isn't very sensitive.

"She had a feeling he was going to make decision to end things but only because she'd been hearing things."

Gill and O’Shea got together towards the end of the ITV2 dating programme and left the villa with high hopes for their budding romance.

“I was like, I’m never going to find an instant connection, this is the worst thing I’ve ever done and then you walked in,” she told him.

Gill visited O’Shea, 24, at his home in Ireland and even hinted that she would consider moving there to be with him if things went well.

Piers Morgan was one of the first to share his opinion following news of the split.

The presenter, not one to mince his words, tweeted: “No???? You mean it wasn’t true love after all?

“I’m gob-smacked.”

Representatives for Gill and O’Shea have been approached for comment.

The reality TV stars have yet to address reports of their split on social media.
