Love Island bombshells are part of the package.
If there's one thing you can ever guarantee from a series of the hit ITV2 show, it's that a late arrival will wash up in order to provide some temptation for the other Islanders.
This test of the villa couples never fails to stir the pot, but some bombshells have proven to be more effective than others over the years.
We've decided to look back over some of the most shocking latecomer moments on the show, as well as doing a little digging to find out where our favourites are now.
Terry Walsh, series 2 (2016)
Quite possibly the best late addition to Love Island, well, ever.
His bad boy antics had girls across the nation doing their best Beyonce and willing Malin Andersson to push him to the left to the left, and it made for compelling viewing.
Tezza, who rocked up on day three of the 2016 series, turned a lot of heads. He caught the eye of Olivia Buckland, but also ended up sweeping her villa BFF Malin off her feet. To take things to another level of awkward, Malin was in a coupling with Rykard Jenkins at the time too.
Terry inevitably chose Malin, gushing in the Beach Hut about how "smitten" he was. "I am falling for her, I am," he said at the time.
As any true Love Island fan will know, this came to a pretty disastrous end when Malin was voted out, leaving Terry in the villa. Despite hinting that he might walk with her, he ultimately decided to stay but promised that it would be more about enjoying the villa experience rather than looking for love elsewhere.
When the next bombshell, Emma Jane Woodhams, entered, his tune changed quite quickly and a heartbroken Malin was forced to watch him move on via national television. In one of the most explosive scenes ever to air on the show, Malin was flown back in to confront him for 'cheating' on her.
After the show ended, Terry and Emma continued to make a go of their relationship, but eventually decided to part ways.
Despite being such a huge part of the show, Terry appears to have shunned the spotlight - even deleting his Instagram account (as far as we can tell).
Kady McDermott, series 2 (2016)
As far as this humble writer is concerned, Kady will go down in Love Island history as one of the most entertaining Islanders to ever grace our screens.
Entering on day three as part of a series two twist, the 'pocket rocket' as she became known certainly created some fireworks. When it came to the boys, Kady mainly kept her eyes fixed firmly on Scott Thomas, despite spending most of the show arguing. The pair eventually finished third in the series, and dated for a good while on the outside before eventually ending their relationship.
Where Kady really earned her bombshell reputation was when fellow latecomer Tina Stinnes dropped in to take her man Scott on a date. We're not condoning the fact that Kady branded her fellow Islander a "plain Jane Chelsea reject" or that she described her dress as "shit", but it sure did make for some explosive television.
The girls seemed to put their differences aside later in the series, so it all worked itself out in the end.
During the Comedy Central show, hosted by Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan, Myles had to decide who was better looking out of girlfriend Kady and fellow Islander (only from a different series) Kendall Rae-Knight.
For a moment, it looked like it might get a little awkward, but Kady said that she knew the rules of the show and actually wasn't too bothered.
Kady also owns a beauty brand and a fitness brand.
Malia Arkian, series 2 (2016)
Arriving on day seven - at the same time as Rachel Fenton (who went on to leave the show with Rykard Jenkins) - Malia spent less than 24 hours in the villa before being removed.
Before her episode had even aired, the singer was asked to leave the show following an altercation with Kady. The argument came after Malia had chosen Scott (Kady's man at the time) to go on a date.
The two girls were chatting when a glass of wine was spilled on Malia's leg. Although Kady claimed it was an accident, Malia accused her of doing it on purpose and the pair had a huge argument. Malia later said that she felt "regret" about her actions.
Fast-forward to 2019 and Malia seems happy.
Theo Campbell, series 3 (2017)
Oh, Theo. He knew how to do his job.
This Love Island bombshell was not afraid to cause a stir, winning praise from viewers for his no-nonsense attitude. He arrived at the villa on day 32 of the 2017 series, when most of the couplings were pretty solid, and it's fair to say that his decision to pursue Tyla Carr (who was paired with Jonny Mitchell) did not go down well.
Things only got worse when Theo actually picked Tyla in a re-coupling – so much so, that Jamie Jewitt had to whisper some words of advice to Jonny to get him to calm down.
Then came Jonny's now-infamous words: "I want to couple up with this girl [Amber], because I wasn't given much of a choice thanks to a gigantic bellend."
Oh, and don't forget that Theo even went as far as to literally call Jonny a "tuna melt".
These days, Theo, having failed to find love on his version of the show, is dating fellow islander and TOWIE star Georgia Harrison.
Cally Jane Beech, series 1 (2015)
In quite possibly one of the most heartwarming entrances to occur on Love Island, Cally was introduced to the villa on day 21 of the first series.
She was actually the former flame of Love Island 2015 original Luis Morrison who, up until that point, had failed to make a romantic connection in the villa.
Love Island bosses clearly knew that there was unfinished business there, because from the moment that Cally walked through the door the pair were inseparable. Together, they made it right through to the last day of the series, just missing out on a spot in the final three.
Ellie Jones, series 4 (2018)
Jack Fincham's ex caused all the dramz in Casa Amor last year, and she didn't even have to lift a finger.
Up until her entrance, things had been going fairly swimmingly for Jack and his villa partner Dani Dyer. As part of a routine Love Island twist, the 2018 boys had settled into the second villa when a team of new girls strutted in – Ellie among them.
Declaring it "a bit of a weird situation", Jack did not look particularly pleased to see his former flame on the show.
Meanwhile, back in the main villa, his new girlfriend Dani was worrying about whether or not "some girl with a nice bum and boobs who hasn't eaten cheese toasties every night" was going to try and turn Jack's head.
Despite the fact that Ellie did nothing more than clear the air with her ex, the producers played a little trick by showing Dani 'out of context' footage of her entrance.
This sparked a barrage of Ofcom complaints, but we know it all worked out for the LI power couple in the end. Jack and Dani won the series (although they have since split), but poor Ellie didn't last too long on the show.
Checking in on the bombshell's Instagram page, Ellie has a fair few followers now and seems to be living the life of an influencer.
Chris Hughes, series 3 (2017)
Arriving on day four and going on to become a firm fan-favourite, Chris became further proof that a Love Island latecomer can still make it right the way through to the final.
Chris and Kem's bromance will go down in history as one of the most iconic friendships on the show, but it was his on/off romance with fellow Islander Olivia Attwood that really kept viewers tuning in night-after-night.
In fact, viewers were so hooked on the couple's drama that ITV soon offered them their very own spin-off show, Crackin' On, but in true Chris and Olivia style, the pair didn't even make it through filming before calling time on their relationship. This decision followed yet another explosive row, all captured by the cameras.
Chris dated Little Mix's Jesy Nelson, though they have since split.
In terms of TV work, Chris has a number of other show appearances under his belt - including a collab with villa best friend Kem.
Megan Barton Hanson, series 4 (2018)
As much as it sounds like a tired cliché, Megan really went on a journey during her time on Love Island. She went from one of the most divisive personalities in the villa to one of the most popular, making it to the final alongside then-boyfriend Wes Nelson.
Back in the real world, despite her split from Wes, Megan has continued to provide inspiration to fans by continuing this self-discovery on social media.
She has been vocal about her personal experiences of mental health, and has fronted online campaigns on subjects such as body image and self confidence.
The Love Island babe also revealed that she is bisexual.
Zara McDermott, series 4 (2018)
This bombshell really put the cat among the pigeons when she arrived on day 4. Adam Collard had already made quite the name for himself when it came to romancing the ladies... and Zara was instantly on his radar.
He eventually ended up realising his feelings for Zara – but not before sparking a sassy showdown with Rosie Williams – and, despite his prior Lothario ways, Adam and Zara became one of the longest lasting relationships outside of the villa before announcing their split in February.
The pair had been heavily rumoured to be an item for some time, having been spotted out holding hands, as well as leaving a few flirty comments on Instagram.
