Love Island's Joey Essex and Jessy Potts share baby plans
Love Island couple Joey Essex and Jessy Potts have shared their baby plans.
The Only Way is Essex star Joey and Jessy ended the 2024 summer series of the ITV2 show as a couple, despite an incredibly dramatic journey during their time in the villa. Now the dust has settled on Love Island, they're looking to the future.
Speaking to OK!, the duo teased that they're very passionate about starting a family together, although they've got very different ideas about how many children they want to have.

Joey explained: "We've already spoken about kids. We both want a big family. But we're having a bit of a tiff at the moment. She wants four, I want eight. Imagine how great that would be?"
"Oh, my God, eight!?" Jessy said. "Joey would make a great dad, though, there’s no doubt about that."
"And Jessy would be an amazing mum. We'd be such good parents. I'm ready. I'd do it tomorrow. Maybe even tonight!" Joey added.
Recently, Joey spoke about his time on the show, admitting that a lot of his actions were in service of the plotlines the producers were trying to create, and that he's probably done with reality TV for now.

"I must say, genuinely, that Love Island was probably my last ever reality show," he said. "To carry the show on and keep it going, I was needed in a lot of situations to help the storyline progress.
"I mean, I need a medic right now because my back is killing me because I carried that show so hard... We're surrounded by about 85 cameras with a storyline, with a show to make. That is the reality.
"We're all there to find love, but there needs to be a journey, there needs to be drama — so, you know, I had to be that guy. I've got feelings, I've got heart, it hurt a lot. I'd switch it on. I'd do my scene."
Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
