Laura Anderson and Dane Bowers have split after five years of dating.

The former 'Love Island' star, 33, struck up a relationship with Another Level singer Dane, 42, back in 2017 and was living with him in Dubai but announced on Friday (05.08.22) that she will be moving back to the UK because she and Dane are "not right" for each other.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, she wrote: "Just to let all my beautiful support on here know that unfortunately Dane

and I have decided to separate. Thank you all for your continued support. Sadly we're just not right

for each other but I do wish him nothing but love. I will be moving back to the UK as soon as I can Roll on the rest of 2022, lets make it count."(sic)

The reality TV star first crossed paths with the 'Out of Your Mind' hitmaker - who was previously in a relationship with Emma-Jane North and has 23-year-old son Kai with her - at a party but split from him six months after getting together when she discovered he had been seeing someone else but later admitted that the pair were "not exclusive" at that point.

She said: "We weren’t in a relationship at that point, and we never said we were exclusive, but I was disappointed, so I confronted him and ended it. "

Following the initial split, Laura signed up to appear on the fourth series of ITV2's hit reality dating show 'Love Island' and eventually placed runner-up alongside Paul Knops behind winners Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer but is said to have called that relationship off when she heard reports that he had a secret girlfriend.

Laura then set up home with former boyband singer Dane in Dubai and although she thought she could "never trust" him again, went on to receive fertility treatment in the hopes that they could conceive a baby together.

She said: "I never thought I’d be able to trust Dane again, but I trust him more than anyone I’ve ever been with – even people who haven’t cheated."

"Some of you might know that Dane and I have been trying to have a baby - and sort of come into a few obstacles. So I'm going to be freezing my eggs initially and Dane's taking some medication. We're just super excited we've been lucky enough to visit an incredible doctor the past few weeks and today set in motion our fertility plan if you'd like."
