Love Island host Laura Whitmore has confirmed the birth of her baby girl with Iain Stirling with an adorable photo.
Pictures had earlier been circulating online of Laura and her husband (everyone's favourite Love Island narrator) taken earlier this week showing the couple holding a baby in a car seat, although the pair were yet to confirm their baby's arrival themselves (via Daily Mail).
However, Laura has since announced the happy news, sharing a picture of herself on Instagram holding the little one in a papoose and writing: "Thanks for all the kind messages at this time. We are in love x".
Laura announced her pregnancy in December last year on her Instagram by posting a picture of a Guns 'n' Roses Sweet Child O' Mine baby grow.
In the caption, Laura wrote: "So I've always tried to be protective over the personal side of my life. A lot of things are just for me and my loved ones and we've chosen not to share publicly. However I want to now share good news as it's our news to share – and I'm gonna be honest it’s starting to look like my lockdown beer belly is out of control.
"Iain and I are expecting a baby early 2021. It's been hard to keep such happy news quiet. Especially the times when I've had to run out of live radio to get sick in a bin or my penchant for a bowl of mashed potato in the morning.
"I wasn't hungover like everyone thought. In fact I was completely sober filming the entire series of Celeb Juice, which is quite the accolade! We'd appreciate our privacy respected but just wanted to spread some love and a reminder of the beauty of life."
Laura recently appeared on Lorraine to talk about her new book No One Can Change Your Life Except For You and there was an awkward moment when it appeared that the show's host Lorraine Kelly accidentally confirmed the sex of Laura's baby. Laura later confirmed that she and Iain were having a baby girl in her book.
In the book, Laura wrote: "As I finish this book, it doesn't end at chapter nine, there's a new chapter coming into my life – in the form of a baby girl currently growing inside me and that scares the s*** out of me.
"I once swallowed a bug and freaked out there was a live bug inside me. A live human is a whole new level of freaking out but I am excited because there's a lot of good in the world, there's a lot of potential."
Laura added: "I want to bring up my child knowing that she has her own story to write. She will be supported and loved. But she is the heroine of her own life, no-one else."
