Welsh Love Island star Paige Thorne has shared exactly what she loves about living in Wales so much. The Swansea star appeared on the ITV2 show in 2022 and has since been navigating the influencer world, brand deals and public events ever since.

But in an everyday situation most will relate to, she recently filmed a moment where she had run out of milk, and had to call on her neighbour to borrow some. After speaking to her neighbour in a wholesome exchange, she tells her 557,000 TikTok followers why she loves her home country so much.

The Swansea star also posted a TikTok showing off Rhossli Bay not too long ago, affectionately captioning it: "My favourite place to view the sunset when I'm at home." For the latest TV & Showbiz news, sign up to our newsletter

Not everything has been smooth-sailing for the former paramedic who was unlucky in love after leaving the villa with her ex Adam Collard, as their relationship ended abruptly following him being seen on a night out getting closer with other women. Paige has also had to endure a backlash to some online comments, like many former Love Island stars, and was slammed earlier this year for talking about her workout regime, when people criticised her for promoting "toxic diet culture."

Paige also admitted in 2023 that she was "struggling to pay bills" after becoming involved in a complicated legal case with fashion brand Forever Unique. But she seems to still be loving her life in Wales, and often posts upbeat videos showing snippets of her day in and around Swansea, despite saying last year that she "couldn't wait to leave".

In the TikTok clip where she pays a visit to her welcoming neighbour, she says: "This is why I like living in Wales because I've run out of milk, I've got no milk. I'm just going to knock on my neighbour's house to get milk because I haven't got time to go to the shop, and hopefully she gives me some."

The Swansea star recorded the endearing chat with her neighbour in their kitchen, who seemed delighted to help and wanted to give her the whole bottle. She told Paige, who has 1.3 million Instagram followers: "There's hardly anything in there."

Paige reassured her: "Oh, that'll be plenty, I promise. I'll have one cap." Her neighbour can be heard, saying: "Are you sure? Have some more" to which Paige exclaimed: "I'll waste it! Keep it."

She then films herself jogging away from the house, adding: "See, you just wouldn't get that in England. Not many people are as nice there."
