Love Island's Will Young shares mullet hair transformation

Love Island's Will Young is in the process of transforming his signature short blonde hairstyle into a mullet.

Sharing an update with fans via an Instagram reel, Will, who is currently in Australia with girlfriend Jessie Wynter, said he made a promise to his Australian partner to grow a mullet.

Posting a video of his time at the hair salon, Will captioned the post: "MULLET UPDATE – since coming to Aus, I promised Jessie I'd grow a mullet. We are a few weeks in and it's getting there!! By the end of the trip we will be laughing!!!"

Since meeting on this year's winter Love Island series, the happy couple have been spending time between Australia and the UK.

Previously speaking about her plans to move to the UK full time, Jessie told OK!: "The plan is to come back to the UK for the long term. I love it here and I haven't experienced the warmer weather yet, so I'm not going back to Australia before I get some sunshine.

"This is my first time properly in the UK. It's just so weird, I was saying to Will that usually people plan it when they move to a different country but I've just kind of ended up here. I am loving the UK. It feels like home to me."

Following his mullet update, Will took to Instagram to share some snaps with Jessie's family in Tasmania.

"Family is so important to me back in the UK and it was so nice seeing Jessie slot in with my family back home. And now it was my turn to come to Jessie's home town and see all of her family," he captioned the post.

"When me and Jessie spoke about how this was going to work with living at different ends of the world, we both said: 'If you want to make it work, you will'. And that's what we have done."

Love Island airs on ITV2, and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
