Former 'Coronation Street' star Lucy Fallon “can’t really remember life” before motherhood.

The 27-year-old actress - who played Bethany Platt on the ITV soap until 2020 - welcomed her first child into the world last month, a son named Sonny, and she feels like the time before his arrival is a “blur”.

Lucy told OK! magazine: "It feels so long ago now. We can’t really remember life before Sonny – it feels like a blur.”

The star gushed about how her little one is the “image” of his father, her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson, 25, a midfielder for Preston North End, joking he looks like him “especially when he’s grumpy”.

She said: “Sonny is the image of Ryan, especially when he’s grumpy! He’s too young for us to know his personality just yet, but he seems quite chilled overall.

"He only really cries when he needs his nappy changing, which Ryan has taken on as his nighttime job – he’s become a pro nappy changer!"

Lucy admitted she was initially keen to name the little one Fox.

She said: “I kept adding names to a list, so we had it set in stone ages ago, which is good because I’m usually indecisive. I liked quite a lot of names Ryan didn’t. Some of them were a bit out there, like Fox.”

But Ryan insisted there was “no chance” any child of his was going to be named after the sly animal.

He said: “When you’re from Liverpool, there was just no chance - he would get ribbed non stop. As the weeks were going on in the pregnancy, we were calling him Sonny."
