Lucy Letby receives another whole-life order for attempted murder of baby girl
Lucy Letby has been given another life sentence today (Friday 5 July) for the attempted murder of a premature baby girl at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
She was found guilty during a retrial at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday (2 July), and the 34-year-old is now serving 15 whole-life sentences for muder and attempted murder.
During sentencing, judge James Goss KC told Ms Letby, who denies all charges against her: “You have no remorse, there are no mitigating factors.”
The jury took less than four hours to make their decision after a three-week trial.
