Lucy Mecklenburgh has given birth to her and fiancé Ryan Thomas’ second child, a baby girl.

The ex TOWIE star, 30, shared the exciting news by uploading a black and white picture showing her newborn daughter’s tiny hand.

Next to it, an embroidered toy rabbit’s ear could be seen which read “Baby Thomas”.

“She’s here!” the proud new mum - who also shares two-year-old son Roman with ex Coronation Street star Thomas - wrote on Instagram Stories.

Leading the delighted well wishes were her former TOWIE co-stars Sam Faiers and Chloe Lewis.

“Aww she’s here.. congratulations,” wrote Faiers.

“Ohh congratulations Luc!” added Lewis.

“Congratulations!” said ex Love Island star Olivia Attwood while EastEnders legend Dean Gaffney simply commented with three red love heart emojis.

While this is Mecklenburgh’s first daughter, it’s the second for Thomas, 37.

Already he is a dad to Scarlett, 13, from his previous relationship with Tina O’Brien.

Mecklenburgh previously told Hello she had a feeling that she was carrying a girl from early on in her pregnancy and she was thrilled when a scan confirmed it.

She said: “I had an inkling that I was having a girl, but I was a bit more unsure than with Roman. With him I just knew – I don’t know why but even before we found out, I said: “I know, one hundred per cent, it’s a boy”.

The couple also revealed in the interview they were struggling to come up with names for their daughter.

After narrowing it down to about 15 names, they said they would wait until she was born to see what she looked like and decide.
