Luis Suarez looks completely different as former Liverpool star unveils striking new look

Former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has unveiled a new look following his retirement from international football. The 37-year-old called time on his career with Uruguay during the September international, making his 143rd and final cap for his country in the process.

Darwin Nunez is now expected to be Uruguay's main striker following Suarez's retirement from international football. Suarez will now be focusing on his club career with Inter Miami alongside former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.

Suarez took part in a training session with Inter Miami on Thursday. The striker was sporting a new hairstyle, with the Major League Soccer club highlighting the change on social media.

Miami posted two photos on Instagram of Suarez during training, which showed the former Liverpool striker after having his hair dyed blonde. The MLS club accompanied the post with the caption: "New look for Luis Suarez." The post from Miami has received more than 730,000 likes.

Since moving to Miami, Suarez has scored 21 goals in 30 appearances, including 17 in the MLS. The former Liverpool star confirmed his decision to retire from international football earlier this month and explained why he called time on playing for his country.

“I am retiring because I want to step aside," Suarez told reporters on September 3. "I am 37 years old, there are a lot of talented players, and I know it would be difficult to get to the next World Cup.

"It is comforting to know I can retire on my terms and not have to retire due to injuries, or to not being called up. I want to say goodbye here, with my people. This is the ideal moment.”
