'Luther' fans swear off nightbus after terrifying murder scenes
London-based Luther fans have have sworn off the nightbus after a terrifying first episode of the new series.
The show returned to BBC One for its fifth season last night, with Idris Elba’s DCI John Luther investigating the case of a woman murdered on a late night journey home in the capital.
In the disturbing scenes, a figure in a hoodie lit with neon and a horrifying clown mask approaches a women on the top deck of the London bus, as other travellers all eventually get off, leaving her alone with her murderer.
The figure then crawls along the floor of the aisle before stabbing her to death.
It’s left London commuters terrified.
