Dream job alert: A UK-based luxury homeware company wants to hire someone to travel around the world scouting out the latest interior design trends, paying a comfortable salary of £50,000 – and all expenses are covered, too.

In a bid to reach a new demographic, Olivia's want to document the ever-changing face of interior design across the world via their Instagram channel by hiring an Inspiration Manager.

They want someone who has 'built influence and an interior design audience' on their own social media platforms. While no qualifications are required, hopeful candidates must be able to demonstrate a keen interest in interiors.

The job description reads: 'This isn't like any normal job though. We want someone with a design flare and a knack for social media, who is happy to travel and discover the untouched interior design trends from across the world.

'The successful candidate will be travelling to areas such as the Middle East, Scandinavia, India and South America, to discover the latest trends in interiors, so we can develop new international partnerships and expand our current portfolio of products.'

Tempted to apply? As well as an annual pro-rota salary of £50,000, Olivia's will also cover all accommodation and travel expenses in return for daily content on the brand's Instagram account and other social media channels.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible, as the role will require them to potentially spend up to two weeks in a country at a time. Plus, they'll also have to complete monthly reports for the brand's senior management team.

Nick Moutter, founder of the brand, said: 'Olivia's prides itself on bringing the latest interior design to British people's homes, however as our customer base has grown, so has our need to have a single employee focussing solely on new trends.

'Interiors is a huge industry, where the fashion changes as quickly as the catwalks, so our Inspiration Manager will need to have the energy to travel to every corner of the globe, and the intuition to spot what's going to be the next big style for our homes.'

To apply, you must be at least 18-years-old and hold a valid passport. Simply write a paragraph on why you think you are fit for the role, along with any relevant experience. The deadline for submissions is 14th February 2020.
