A giant luxury superyacht which has its own submarine and TWO helicopters is set to make port in Aberdeen as part of a visit to the Scottish Isles later this year.

Scenic Discovery is taking guests on a nine-day tour which will include stops at Oban, Fort William and the isle of Skye, before round to Aberdeen and on to Edinburgh.

The world’s first Discovery yacht, Scenic Discovery was launched in 2018.

The vessel also boasts its own a custom-built submersible onboard as well as two Airbus H130-T2 helicopters.

The yacht will initially sail into the charming coastal town of Oban, renowned for its whisky distilleries and gateway to the Hebrides.

It will then be continuing onto Fort William for breathtaking Highland scenery, and then to the misty Isle of Skye.

Continuing to skirt the wild and windswept coastline, Scenic Eclipse will make its way to the remote archipelago of St Kilda, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dramatic cliffs and abundant wildlife.

Cruising onwards to Stromness, a historic town on the Orkney Islands, the impressive vessel will then reach Aberdeen, where it will dock right in the heart of the Granite City.

The voyage will culminate in Leith, the port district of Edinburgh.
