I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Seann Walsh has welcomed the birth of his baby daughter by revealing her unusual name.

The comedian, who appeared on the most recent series of the ITV show, had his first child with girlfriend Grace Adderley, and took to Instagram to reveal her name.

“Wylda Primrose Adderley-Walsh - I’m really hoping she’s posher than us. Can you tell?” he began in the caption alongside a photo of Wylda. “Can’t wait until the day she makes me take these down.

"And Grace is better*. Aaaaaaand breathe. *Turns out I could have probably gone to the comedy awards so I will be having words later,” he joked in the remainder of the post.

Upon Wylda’s birth last week, Seann revealed that he had fainted, saying in an Instagram Live video: “So Grace has had our baby and I’m sat here in the very relaxing postnatal department and the staff have been great.

“The nurses have been coming up to me all morning and congratulating me, which has just been lovely,” he explained, before adding he passed out during the big moment.

Seann, who has also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, finished in 5th place during his time in the jungle last year, but revealed he almost turned down the opportunity to appear on the show.

“Grace said to me, 'This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance. The adventure itself will make it worthwhile' – and she was absolutely right,” he said. “I was so petrified of getting backlash. I'd had such a bad experience with all the things that were said about me last time [on Strictly], the idea of that happening again was terrifying."

The most recent series, which was the first to take place in Australia in three years, was won by former professional footballer Jill Scott.

I'm a Celebrity will return later this year for an All-Stars series on ITV1 and ITVX.
