Comedian and radio show host Iain Lee is reportedly the next star to enter the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here jungle.

The talkRADIO presenter is said to be joining another rumoured contestant, former Scottish Labour and leader and current MSP Kezia Dugdale, in the Australian Outback later this week.

A source told The Sun: “Iain isn’t afraid to speak his mind. He regularly rants and raves on his talkRADIO show and his listeners would expect the same from him in the jungle.”

“He’s very much in the mould of Danny Baker, who was also a late arrival last year.

“He will not bite his tongue and is sure to break the harmonious camp’s current mood very quickly. Expect fireworks,” the source said.

Lee is best known for fronting current affairs programme The 11 O’Clock Show on Channel 4 and talkRADIO show The Late Night Alternative.

He was allegedly sacked from BBC Three Counties radio after the station received complaints about an interview Lee had conducted with a lawyer from Christian concern.

In the broadcast, the host accused the woman of being ‘bigoted’ for defending a minister who quoted verses from the bible condemning homosexuality.

Meanwhile Dugdale’s rumoured appearance on the reality show has cause controversy amongst her fellow politicians.

Despite getting the support of Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, she was criticised by fellow Labour MSP Neil Findlay who said her participation ‘demeaned politics’.

New leader of the Scottish Labour party Richard Leonard said Dugdale hadn’t been given permission to appear on the show, but that he was ‘not persuaded’ that she should be sacked over the issue.

I’m A Celebrity continues Monday, November 20 at 9pm on ITV.
