I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here contestant Frankie Bridge has revealed her husband Wayne has been trying to prepare her for camp life.

The ex-footballer took part in the show in 2016, while The Saturdays singer is part of the 2021 line-up currently in Gwrych Castle in Wales.

Speaking about whether Wayne had been offering her advice, she told Digital Spy and others: "It's so annoying because he did Australia and it's a completely different kettle of fish.

"He's tried to [teach] me how to light a fire because I am useless. We have a fire here where I'm staying and it's like a full-time job; the last two nights I've given up and sat in my coat in the house because I can't stay on top of it."

She continued: "He just told me to enjoy it, he absolutely loved it and has wanted me to do it ever since he did it.

"We're quite competitive so I just want to make sure I get to the cyclone because he never got a chance to do it."

Despite I'm A Celebrity barely even starting yet, Frankie has already been named as one of the frontrunners to win by the bookies.

"I don't really like that," she said in response.

"It does add a bit of pressure but it also doesn’t really mean anything. That's the great thing with I'm A Celebrity, people go in who you might not know, or you might not know in a certain way, that's the whole point of the show, you get to know people in weird situations.

"You just don't know how people are going to feel about all the contestants once we're all in and we've all been in for a few weeks."

She continued: "I feel more pressure with my friends and family because they've all said 'you're going to smash it' and now I think, oh no, what if I don't?.

"But I think I was one of the favourites to win Strictly Come Dancing too and I definitely didn't win, so it doesn't mean anything."

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! begins Sunday night (November 21) on ITV.
