Fans have praised I’m A Celebrity’s Scarlett Moffatt for posing makeup-free in a post warning fans against the dangers of social media.

The 27-year-old posted a before and after picture on Instagram of her makeup and filter-free face alongside an image of herself fully made-up and edited to expose the reality behind images online.

The reality star encouraged fans not to let what they see online affect their self-esteem.

She said: “To all you young girls (and older ladies) out there don’t believe all you see on social media.

“This goes to show what make up and a filter can do, love who you are and don’t compare yourself to anybody else.’

“As dr Seuss once said…. Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You. #love #instagood #makeup #filter.”

Fans were quick to send in a flood of positive comments, supporting Moffatt for being ‘real’ whilst others hailed her a ‘great role model’.

One fan posted: “That is super cool of you post something so REAL. Thank You!”

Another said: “You are such a great role model for young women. I am a mum of 2 girls and think it's great seeing this, thanks.”

Moffatt won I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! In 2016 and this year presented the spin-off series Extra Camp.

The TV personality also hit back at bullies last month for body-shaming her whilst hosting the show.
