M&S Food has announced the opening date of its new outlet at Belfast Grand Central Station.

The store will officially open its doors on Wednesday, 20th November at 9am. It comes a week after the second Starbucks outlet, and first full store, opened at the station. It marks the firm's first-ever store in Northern Ireland located within a major travel hub

Last month, M&S Food was among three food and drink vendors confirmed to open at Grand Central Station.

SSP Group, a leading operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations, said it will also open its first BrewDog bar-restaurant in Northern Ireland later this year.

The company manages the two Starbucks stores, one in the main concourse that opened this week and one post the rail barrier, near platform one which has been operating since late October at the city centre station.

Pret A Manger opened its second Belfast outlet at the new station next month in September, creating 15 new jobs.
