Marks & Spencer has revealed that it's not offering a beauty advent calendar this year. But, before you get too disappointed, it's just launched a £20 beauty box worth £120 instead.

The thinking behind it is that the store doesn't want you to have to wait until December to get a beauty treat. So it's curated a box of 10 must-have goodies and put them together in one brilliant beauty buy.

To get your hands on it, you will need to spend £30 on in the clothing, home or beauty department, so the whole spend will be £50. However, you'll have a lovely new item (or Christmas present if you're feeling sensible), as well as the beauty products worth £120.

So what's in the box? There are 10 exciting products, including three full-size pieces.

There's a Ren calming mask to soothe and revive sensitive skin; a Philip Kingsley conditioner that adds volume and moisture; the iconic Nuze multipurpose dry oil for softer skin; a Living Proof hair styling treatment; a Leighton Denny cream for damaged nails; a nourishing, volumising mascara for full, fluttery lashes; and a wrinkle repair cream from Prai.

There are also the three full-size products, which include a highly-pigmented waterproof mascara; a Percy & Reed hair styling cream; and a deep sleep This Works body cream to bring calm and nourish skin at the same time.

Need any inspiration for your £30 initial spend? We love this £15 jumper that's perfect for layering, and this gorgeous £29.50 satin shirt worn by Jane Moore is also super-smart.
