M&S makes major change to pigs in blankets this year
For the first time ever, M&S is making a huge change to its pigs in blankets. The popular Christmas side dish has undergone a major change that fans will be thrilled about.
The food and clothes retailer is now wrapping all its pigs in blankets in a whole rasher of bacon, as opposed to a half, and they will - like always - be made with outdoor bred British pork and dry cured artisan bacon.
Dubbed the 'upgrade of dreams', the new change will also be available in M&S cafes alongside their foodhalls.
M&S revealed their 2024 festive menu that is packed with viral favourites and brand new items.
The high street retailer regularly pulls out all the stops with its food range during the holidays. This year is no different, with its Food Halls bringing the Christmas spirit to both its selection of sandwiches and café menus.
For those looking for a seasonal-themed lunch, the retailer's bestselling 'Christmas On the Move' selection has been updated with 21 sandwiches to tuck into. Available in stores now, it features a range of brand new options that offer a 'twist' on classic favourites.
There's not just sandwiches to enjoy, as the 21-strong range also sees the return of last year's viral Gingerbread Milkshake. Fans of the spicy flavour can also indulge in the new Spiced Peanut Butter & Jam with Gingerbread Men for a snack.
Meanwhile, Christmas is also coming to M&S cafe's, with a range of seasonal treats which arrived to stores in early November, Returning for a second year is the TikTok-viral Turkey & Ham Hock Toastie, alongside a gluten-free option for the very first time.
There's also two indulgent new drinks arriving this year - the S'ores Milkshake and S'mores Hot Chocolate.
