M&S urgent 'do not eat' chicken warning over salmonella contamination
Marks and Spencer is pulling some of its chicken products from its shelves over salmonella fears in Northern Ireland. It is recalling its Crispy Southern Fried Chicken Burgers and packets of its 2 Chicken Kyivs.
This is because salmonella has been found, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) said. Customers have now been warned not to eat the products and instead return them to store for a refund.
The FSA said: "Marks & Spencer is recalling Crispy Southern Fried Chicken Burgers and 2 Chicken Kyivs because Salmonella has been found in the products. These products are only sold in Marks and Spencer in Northern Ireland."

According to the NHS, symptoms of food poisoning can include nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, stomach cramps, a high temperature of 38C or above and feeling generally unwell. Symptoms usually start within a few days of eating contaminated food but can start within a few hours or not for a few weeks.
You can usually treat yourself at home and should have lots of fluids to avoid dehydration. The NHS said: "Stay off school or work until you have not been sick or had diarrhoea for at least two days."
