U.K. Government to Buy 60 Million Doses of Novavax COVID-19 Vaccine

Novavax (NASDAQ: NVAX) capped its week with the announcement that it has reached a deal with the U.K. government to supply that country with its COVID-19 vaccine candidate. The two sides signed a heads-of-terms agreement to supply the U.K. with 60 million doses of the company's NVX-CoV2373. The agreement also includes a phase 3 clinical trial to be conducted in the country in order to determine the efficacy of NVX-CoV2373 on the nation's citizenry.
