M6 car and van crash leaves woman injured and lane closed
A car driver was taken to hospital following a crash on the M6. She was driving a car that collided with a van on the M6 southbound between Junction 3, at the Bedworth bypass, and junction 2.
One lane of four was closed and congestion was building. Traffic website Inrix also reported congestion on the opposite side due to onlookers.
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed an ambulance and paramedic officer responded to 999 calls at 3.15pm. Medics found the car driver injured.

After treating the woman at the scene, she was taken to hospital for further treatment. An ambulance service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a collision on the M6 between junctions 3 and 2, near Henley, at around 3.15pm. An ambulance and paramedic officer were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found a car and a van had been involved in a collision.
"The driver of the car, a woman, was treated for minor injuries and taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further treatment."
