M6 and M62 motorway closures starting this week

The motorways, which run through Merseyside, will see closures this week as National Highways continue to repair the region's roads. These include the M6 and M62, according to the National Highways journey planning tool.

Monday, May 27

No closures.

Tuesday, May 28

The M6 southbound between junctions J23 and J22 will be closed between 9pm and 6am from May 28 and June 1.

The M6 northbound between junctions J21A and J22 will be closed between 9pm and 6am from May 28 to May 31.

The M62 eastbound between junctions J7 and J9 will be closed between 9pm and 5am from May 28 to May 30.

Wednesday, May 29

The M6 southbound between junctions J23 and J22 will be closed between 9pm and 6am from May 28 and June 1.

The M6 northbound between junctions J21A and J22 will be closed between 9pm and 6am from May 28 to May 31.

The M62 eastbound between junctions J7 and J9 will be closed between 9pm and 5am from May 28 to May 30.

Thursday, May 30

The M6 southbound between junctions J23 and J22 will be closed between 9pm and 6am from May 28 and June 1.

The M6 northbound between junctions J21A and J22 will be closed between 9pm and 6am from May 28 to May 31.
