M6 'multi-vehicle' crash leaves Mercedes driver in Royal Stoke
A man was taken to hospital following a pile-up on the M6 in Staffordshire. Emergency services were sent to the southbound side following the smash between junction 14 and 13 for Stafford this afternoon (November 11).
Paramedics treated one driver at the scene before taking him to the Royal Stoke University Hospital. The collision - which National Highways says involved 'multiple vehicles' - was first reported shortly before 3pm.
All lanes reopened at around 4.30pm after the vehicles were recovered and the debris had been cleared.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called by the police at 2.47pm to reports of an RTC on the southbound carriageway of the M6 between junctions 14 and 13, Stafford. One ambulance attended the scene and assessed one man, the driver of one car, who had sustained non-serious injuries. He received treatment on scene before being conveyed to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further checks."
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "Just before 2.40pm today, we were called to a collision on the M6 southbound in Stafford. The incident involved a silver Mercedes, between junctions 13 and 14.
"West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended the scene. The driver of the Mercedes, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital for treatment. Recovery has been arranged."
