Watch: Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song welcome their 1st child together
Macaulay Culkin has become a father after welcoming a baby boy with fellow former child star Brenda Song.
The 40-year-old Home Alone actor and the 33-year-old former Disney Channel star welcomed son Dakota on Monday 5 April at 1.10pm in Los Angeles, weighing 6lb 7oz.
Culkin and Song told Esquire in a statement: “We’re overjoyed.”
Their son is named Dakota in tribute to Culkin's late sister Dakota, who tragically died aged 29 after being hit by a car in Los Angeles in 2008.
Culkin and Song met on the set of movie Changeland, which was filmed in Thailand in 2017 and directed by Seth Green.
Former child model Song rose to fame as an actor and singer after being cast in Disney movie Give Me A Glue in 2002.
She signed a contract with the Disney Channel and made appearances in TV shows including That's So Raven and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.

His other films include Richie Rich, My Girl and Uncle Buck.
He took a break after a string of projects in the early 90s but returned to acting after a few years away from the cameras. He also lead singer of comedy rock band The Pizza Underground.
